The 55th edition of the International Film Festival of India kick-started in Goa with a dazzling display of glamour and a galaxy of celebrities from different film industries added to the unforgettable evening.

The opening ceremony was attended by filmmakers, film enthusiasts, industry stalwarts, and cinematic icons, marking the beginning of an eight-day long festival that celebrates and honours the art of films.

Prominent names like Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rakul Preet Singh, Manushi Chhillar, Boman Irani, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Jaideep Ahlawat, Randeep Hooda, Sanya Malhotra, Jackky Bhagnani, Ashutosh Gowariker, and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar graced the event.

The cast and crew of Fauji 2, including Gauahar Khan and Vicky Jain, donning military uniforms, made a striking and energetic entry on the IFFI red carpet.

Manushi Chillar, who dazzled in a stunning blue dress on the red carpet, shared her joy about performing at IFFI. She stressed that the festival's importance as a remarkable platform to showcase talent was undeniable.

Adding to the excitement, singer and performer Deepti Sadhwani as well as Ishaan Khatter, a versatile actor, also walked the red carpet.
