Goa's Zavier Michael D'Souza on Wednesday won a bronze medal in the 100m backstrokes at the National Senior Swimming Championships in Bangalore. He clocked a time of 58.96 seconds.
Meanwhile, India Olympian swimmer Srihari Nataraj won the gold medal with a time of 55.10 seconds. He broke his personal record of 55.63 seconds. S. Shiva from Karnataka won the silver medal with a time of 57.60 seconds.
Zavier is currently practising full time under coach Bhushan Kumar at the GAF RAY Aquatic Center in Bengaluru.
