Former champions Goa continue their winning streak in the Western Division Qualifying Round of the Santosh Trophy National Football Tournament.

Goa defeated Dadra-Nagar Haveli 5-0 at Bhavnagar in Gujarat on Friday, 26 November.

With the second win in a row, Goa now has six points and is at the top.

Umang Gaikwad scored the first goal for Goa in the 14th minute. He chased the opposing goalkeeper after an assist from Shallum Pires.

In the second half, Goa was awarded a penalty when Jovial Dias was brought down. Suraj Hadkonkar hit the penalty kick accurately. Later, Kunal Salgaonkar scored Goa's third goal thanks to an assist from Saiesh Bagkar.

With three minutes left in the match, Goa got another penalty kick. This time Kunal Salgaonkar was given a dangerous tackle in the goal area. Once again, Suraj Hadkonkar scored his second individual penalty goal of the match while shooting accurately.

Goa goalkeeper Jason Dimelo's goalkeeping had an incredible performance and blocked every opposition attempt. Kunal Salgaonkar scored his second goal and Goa a 5-0 lead.
