Goa's Arjuna Award winner and former Indian football team captain Bruno Coutinho, known for his footballing prowess was seen showcasing his skills in Tennis Ball Cricket match at the Peddem sports complex at Mapusa on Monday.
The former Indian football team captain was playing in the inauguration match of the Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament.
The tournament was organised on the occasion of Sports and Fitness Week of the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG). As the training director of the SAG, Bruno was the inaugural speaker of the competition.
Apart from Bruno, Mapusa Corporator Vikas Arolkar, Goa Sports Authority Executive Director Vasant Prabhudesai, Inspector of Police Rahul Parab, Sports Authority Assistant Project Officer Steffi Cardoz, Ponda Divisional Head Nilesh Naik and Engineer Deepak Lotlikar were also present at the inauguration.
