Team Blue Strikers won the second edition of the Malkarne Premier League. The Rupesh Brothers were the runners-up. The second edition of the Malkarne Premier League was held with great success. Altogether 6 teams participated as two groups of 3 teams each.
The top two teams from each group qualified for the playoffs, from which the Blue Strikers and the Rupesh brothers entered the finals.
The final consisted of 4 overs each. The toss was won by the Rupesh Brothers, and they chose to field. Batting first, the Blue strikers managed to reach 46 runs.
Mayur Naik made 16 runs while Molu made 10 for the Rupesh Brothers. Mahendra Malkarnekar took 3 wickets.
The Blue Striker bowlers bowled strongly, keeping the Rupesh Brothers away from making more runs and managed to win the final match by 10 runs.
The tournament was organised by Spartan Warriors Sports Club, Malkarne. Sagar Gosavi and Rohan Gaonkar managed the work of commentators while Aslam Sheikh and Vinod Naik managed the umpiring.
