Since the safety of women is increasingly becoming a cause for concern, Revolutionary Goans (RG) has launched an app concerning women's safety, called 'Women's Safety'. The app is completely free and easy to use. Once installed on your phone, simply shaking your phone is all that's needed to activate the app.
The app was officially launched today by the founder of RG, Manoj Parab.
"The government has completely failed to provide security to women. Today, women are scared to go out of their houses and parents worry about when their daughters will reach home. In Goa, there are about five rape cases reported every 8 days, and that's why we have launched this app," says Parab.
