A leopard entered a house in Mardol's Baga Seemepain area on Friday. The incident took place early in the morning when Ramdas Naik went to fetch flowers for Devi puja and saw the leopard lying asleep in the woods.

Local residents has called up the forest department to trap the leopard. The police have also rushed to the spot and sealed off the entire area.

The Forest Department said they are aware of the situation and will take action.

Meanwhile, locals have informed that three puppies are missing. It is being speculated that Leopard must have come to catch dogs
