PANAJI: Leader of the Opposition Digambar Kamat on Monday said that he will request the Speaker Rajesh Patnekar to ensure that opposition MLAs were given maximum opportunities to raise issues concerning the public during the brief session of Goa Assembly starting from February 3. In a statement, Kamat said, ''I have urged the Speaker to ensure that the opposition MLA's are given maximum opportunities to raise issues of public concern during the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting today (Monday). We will raise issues such as Mhadei, CAA, drugs, law and order, unemployment, bad finances and demand for detailed discussions on the issues to find solutions.'' He said the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) would have a floor management with other opposition members and ensure that the government listened to people's voice. "We will demand solutions from the government."
