The Padma Shree awardee in the field of spiritualism in 2022, is a spiritual leader, humanitarian, philanthropist and educator. The seer is a regular orator at many inter-religious peace meets held across the world.
In a chat with Gomantak Times Digital, he shared his excitement about visiting Ayodhya and how the upcoming event is a glorious chapter in India's spiritual journey.
What does the inauguration of the temple mean to you?
The inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22 is a joyous occasion for India. While India gained independence from colonial rule, the struggle for true freedom continued in the form of endeavours like Ayodhya, where the birthplace of Shree Ram was transformed into a mosque, setting off a struggle to build a temple.
This protracted dispute persisted for decades, witnessing the unwavering dedication of countless individuals. Now, with the divine celebration of the installation of Ram Lalla idol at the temple, the long-awaited justice has finally been served after so many years. This celebration has become a nationwide event, creating an experience that all Indians must witness and cherish.
How do you view Hinduism in the present time when the world is in the throes of wars?
In Hinduism, spirituality holds unparalleled significance. The contemplation within Hinduism extends not only to the human race but encompasses the consideration of all living beings in this earthly realm. As a result, the underlying principle in Hinduism advocates that for the welfare of all creation, one's individual life must be lived in a righteous and tranquil manner. The scriptures in Hinduism convey the essence of leading a virtuous life, presenting a guide for existence.
Consequently, the current state of the world bears a resemblance to a perpetual battle, and in such circumstances, human responsibility is paramount. To address any challenges that may arise, one can draw upon the teachings of Hindu scriptures and their profound knowledge, empowering individuals to navigate complex situations with wisdom and compassion. One should follow the path and teachings of Lord Rama or Krishna to encounter war-like situations that arise every now and then. Ram is also a king who ruled a kingdom, who safeguarded all in society and also fought against wrong doings.
Lord Rama or Krishna, always promoted peace and harmony in society by sidelining evil factors. The principles of this Ram Rajya will now vouch for global peace.
What are your plans when you go for the inauguration?
Entering the sacred land of Ayodhya and subsequently participating in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla’s idol is a privilege that, to say the least, is an experience of unparalleled joy for all of us, the fortunate brethren of the Hindu Dharma.
To truly comprehend and relish this privilege, it becomes imperative for each one of us to make a pilgrimage to Ayodhya, ensuring our active participation in the divine celebration of Ram Lalla. Inspired by devotion, let each young individual from every family across the nation dedicate themselves to the feet of Prabhu Shree Ram, fostering a spirit of reverence that emanates from the heart, transcending from generation to generation.
