Refused permission to host Sunburn Music Festival this year: Pramod Sawant

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday, November 24, announced that the government has refused permission to host the annual Sunburn Electronic Dance Festival in 2021.

Addressing a press conference post-cabinet meeting at Porvorim, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, "We have not given permission for Sunburn this year.”

the annual Sunburn Festival that happens in Goa sees attendees from all across the country and even the world.

The most popular music festival was conducted digitally last year with no fan presence on the ground due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sunburn had already earlier announced that the music festival will be a three-day showcase from December 28-30 at Vagator with access to only fully vaccinated audiences.
