Goa's Princeton Rebello among India's 28 probables for U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers

Princeton Rebello is the only Goan to be selected for the national team's qualifying campaign for next year's AFC U-23 Asian Cup.

The 22-year-old is a key member of FC Goa and represented the Guars in  25 ISL games. He was also part of FC Goa's victorious Durand Cup campaign.

India has been drawn alongside Oman, Kyrgyz Republic, and hosts UAE in Group E of the Qualifiers, with the matches set to be played between October 25 to 31 at the Fujairah Stadium in UAE.

India will face Oman will play on the 25th, UAE on the 28th and Kyrgyz Republic on the 31st.

The Indian team will gather in Bangalore on the 17th and leave for the UAE on the 20th.

The AFC U-23 Asian Cup is scheduled to be held in Uzbekistan.

Indian team:

Goalkeepers : Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem, Prabhsukhan Singh Gill, Prateek Kumar Singh, Mohammad Nawaz.

Defenders: Narender Gahlot, Bikash Yumnam, Alex Saji, Hormipam Ruivah, Halen Nongtdu, Asish Rai, Sumit Rathi, Akash Mishra, Sahil Panwar.

Midfielders: SK Sahil, Suresh Singh, Amarjit Singh, Lalengmawia, Jeakson Singh, Deepak Tangri, Rahul KP, Komal Thatal, Nikhil Raj, Bryce Miranda, Princeton Rebello.

Forwards: Vikram Partap Singh, Rahim Ali, Rohit Danu, Aniket Jadhav.
