In order to celebrate the achievement of women in various field, the Rebuild India Trust and Goa Panchayat Mahila Shakti Abhiyan, in association with the Directorate of Panchayats, Government of Goa is hosting the Goa Star Women Award 2023.
The event will take place on May 14, 2023 at the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) auditorium, Dona Paula, from 4 pm onwards.
AIM OF THE GOA STAR WOMEN AWARD
The Goa Star Women Award 2023 celebrates achievements of women in various fields and contribution towards the women fraternity.
The event aims to recognise the hard work and dedication of women who have excelled in their respective fields and have made a positive impact on society.
THE THEME
The theme for the program this year is 'Celebrating Womanhood through Appreciation, Recognition and Connect'.
The idea is to showcase the achievements of women in Goa who have overcome challenges and achieved success in their respective fields.
The awards covers a wide range of categories, including professionals, artists, sports, education, social work etc.
AT THE EVENT
The Goa Star Women Award 2023 will feature traditional performances like Divli dance and Kunbi dance, followed by a kunbi fashion show by internationally acclaimed Goan fashion designer, Verma D'Mello.
Chief Minister of Goa, Dr Pramod Sawant along with Minister for Panchayats, Mauvin Godinho, will also be present at the event.
