The Goa government on Sunday extended the state-wide curfew by another week till September 6 without any further relaxation. Casinos, auditoriums, river cruises, spa and massage parlours will continue to remain closed.
In the last order on 22 August, the state government had allowed cinema halls and multiplexes along with entertainment zones in malls to function with 50 per cent capacity. The state government had also permitted political and social gathering with upto 50 per cent capacity.
According to the latest order, people coming in Goa from Kerala will still have to show negative RT-PCR report.
On Sunday, Goa's COVID-19 tally went up by 74 to reach 1,73,791, while the day also saw two deaths, which took the toll to 3,195. The recovery count in the state rose by 79 and reached 1,69,651, leaving the state with 945 active cases
