Mukesh Kumar Meena, Director General of Police (DGP), has been transferred to New Delhi on Wednesday.
Indra Dev Shukla has been appointed Goa's new DGP. Shukla had earlier served in Goa as North Goa SP. Indradev Shukla is a 1995 AGMUT cadre IPS officer.
He had earlier been appointed as a probationary officer in Goa as Deputy Superintendent. He was later promoted to Superintendent of Police and served as North Goa SP for many years.
