Rahul Gandhi to visit poll-bound Goa on Wednesday

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be in poll-bound Goa on a one-day visit on Wednesday, February 2 for party's election campaign.

He will hold election-related meetings at Chief Minister Pramod Sawant's home turf sanquelim and will interact with party workers and voters in the evening.

He will also hold meetings with those involved in the tourism sector and participate in door-to-door campaigning during the digital media.

During his first visit in Goa last year in October, Rahul interacted with fisherfolk and miners. The party also informed that Rahul will simultaneously interact with people from different place through virtual manner.

The Congress has fielded 37 candidates while the Goa Forward Party (GFP) has fielded three for the upcoming Goa Assembly elections.

The Goa Assembly election will be held on February 14 and the ballot will be counted on March 10.
