Mormugao Port Tourism Taxi Union (MPTTU) on Monday, January 31, extended their support to BJP candidate and former MLA Milind Naik ahead of the Goa Assembly election
Sanjay Kanoji, President of Union said, "The development done by the Bhartiya Janata Party in the state is a real boon to Goa."
He further said Milind Naik, who has instrumental in the development of Mormugao constituency, is a social worker and helped the people of Mormugao in one way or another.
The former urban development minister Milind Naik, who resigned from the cabinet after allegation of an alleged sex scandal, has been fielded by BJP from the Mormugao constituency.
Sanjay Kanoji informed that the people of Sada, Jetty, Rumdawada and Bogda areas in Mormugao had to suffer for drinking water. As Milind Naik became MLA for the first time, he started many projects in Mormugao and helped us to solve the water issue.
"MLA Milind Naik has acted as a social worker by giving job and business initiative to the youth of Mormugao," he said.
BJP candidate Milind Naik said that while developing Mormugao, many projects were started and the state government will provide necessary assistance to the people of Mormugao for setting up a well equipped primary health centre.
Milind Naik expressed confidence that the people of Mormugao will support the party and make Pramod Sawant the Chief Minister of the state once again.
