AAP announces the second list of 10 candidates for Goa Assembly Polls
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced its second list of candidates for the upcoming Goa Assembly election on Sunday, January 9. Two days ago, AAP had announced the first list of 10 candidates.
On Sunday, the AAP announced on their official handle the second list of candidates for the upcoming 2022 state assembly elections.
Popular names include ex-BJP leader Ramrao Wagh, who will contest from St Andre. Wagh had previously contested for the St Andre seat on BJP ticket during the 2017 State Assembly elections but lost to Congress-turned-BJP MLA Francisco Silveira.
AAP Goa's convener Rahul Mhambre has been given a ticket to contest from Mapusa while Cruz Silva and Anoop Kudtarkar will contest from Velim and Canacona constituencies respectively.
Other names in the list include Sudesh Mayekar, who will contest from Calangute and Cecille Rodrigues, contesting from Taleigaon. Cecille Rodrigues is AAP's candidate for Taleigaon while Rajesh Kalangutkar and Prashant Naik will contest from Maem and Cuncolim on AAP ticket.
