In order to empower the female police force in Goa, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Indian Women Network (IWN) Goa signed an MoU with the Goa Police. The idea behind this initiative was to create awareness as well as address issues faced by women in their personal and professional lives.
This CII IWN initiative aims to enhance the capability, core domain and quality of women at the workplace, and at the same time, facilitate faculty experts to address and deal with stress management, financial literacy, mental health, etc so as to enlighten, guide and upskill the female workforce.
IPS, Director General Goa Police, Jaspal Singh, who was also present during the interaction, extended his support to the industry in cyber crime, substance abuse and other related matters.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Jaspal Singh IPS, Director General of Police, Omvir Singh Bishnoi, IPS, Inspector General of Police Sudiksha S Naik, Police Inspector, Women PS Panaji, Maria Monserrate, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Women PS, Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Reshma Shirodkar, Police Inspector, Pink Force, Sandhya Gupta, Police Inspector Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) Panaji, Sheetal Pai Kane, Chairperson, CII IWN Goa, Sonia Kuncalienker, Vice Chairperson, CII IWN Goa and other members of CII IWN Goa Chapter.
