It's not only the tourists who come calling at this time of the year, but also avian visitors. Goa is home to a variety of endemic as well as migratory birds that attract serious enthusiasts to just view them or get a shot of their lifetime.
The Goa Bird Conservation Network is providing ample opportunity for serious birders to see and shoot some of these avian visitors at its 83rd Monthly Bird Walk to be held on December 4, 2022, at the Maina-Curtorim wetlands from 7.30 am to 9.30 am.
As part of its public outreach, GBCN conducts monthly Bird Walks on the first Sunday of every month. These bird walks are open to the general public and everyone, including the young and old, to join a team of expert birders who lead the walk to explore the birdlife of the selected location and enjoy the “great Goan outdoors”.
Those intersted can meet at Handi Khuris, Maina-Curtorim, at 7 am.
