DOCUMENTARY FILM SCREENING
Carpe Diem Art & Learning Centre, Majorda, is organising the screening of the documentary film, From the Shadows on Nov 22, 2023
From the Shadows follows the story of the #Missingirl campaign by artist Leena Kejriwal and activist Hasina Kharbhih’s work of preventing cross-border trafficking. The film captures the glimmer of hope when women collaborate in a determined bid for justice.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with film director Miriam Chandy Menacherry and writer and Impact producer Triparna Banerjee.
