Listen to Christmas music by Stuti Choral Ensemble along with Ektaal Children’s Choir on December 19, 2022 at the Royal Chapel of St Anthony, Old Goa. Directed by Parvesh Java and guest conductors Karen Coelho and Lindolf Colaco, the performances will include motets and carols from the Renaissance period till the 20th century.
There will be Latin, English, Konkani and Russian songs, plus new arrangements of traditional carols. The repertoire includes Ghanttir Ghantti, Locus Iste, Ave Verum Corpus, Holly & the Ivy, Deck the Halls, Ukranian Bell Carol, Lully, Lulla, Lullay etc.
The event is being held as part of Museum of Christian Art’s (MoCA) annual Christmas event, ‘Carols on the Hill’. There will be free seating on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Stuti Choral Ensemble, Goa, is a mixed four voice choir, founded in February 2009 and aims to promote choral music within the state, and showcase Goa’s musical talent to the world.
