The idea behind the name ‘Café de Saligao’ was to reflect the absence of cafes in Saligao, at the time of its inception. But, since then, it has grown significantly, say the owners.

The café's beautiful murals of flamingos and lush leaves create a refreshing and inviting ambience.

Soniya says, “A must try at the café are the chicken cheese sandwiches which are our bestseller. Along with that, I would recommend trying our chocolate truffle cake, eclairs and Berliners.”
She adds that the best time to try these sweet treats are during the cafe's ‘buy 2, get 2 free’ offer.
Café de Saligao is renowned for its delicious cakes and baked treats. The cakes are freshly baked on a regular basis, with prices starting at Rs 300 for a truffle bento cake. The more fancy and elaborate options range between Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,400.
Customised cakes, specialising in fondant and celebratory designs are also available. The café's pastries are also highly highly recommended by customers.
