Dhaee Aakhar Goa will be hosting an online talk on the topic of outdoor learning, titled ‘Teaching students beyond four walls’ by architect and educator, Tallulah D’Silva on December 12.
In this online presentation, Tallulah will share her experiences of outdoor learning, where she will talk about topics related to nature, history, environment, etc, as well as explain the importance of focusing on this form of learning in the age of pandemics and climate change.
Tallulah is an architect promoting mud building and sustainability. She loves nature and working with children. For over a decade, she has been promoting outdoor learning where students and youth are taken outdoors to learn about nature, history, environment, and taking action by engaging in community initiatives. During the pandemic, she co-founded the Backyard Class and the Community Classroom to engage neighbourhood children in learning beyond the virtual platform of online classes.
