Learn to make pre-historic tools and intention candles in Goa

This Sunday, two interesting workshops will be held in Goa. The first is a candle making workshop, with a focus on intention candles. At the other workshop, participants will learn to fashion pre-historic tools while also gaining an understanding of the culture of the time.

INTENTION CANDLE WORKSHOP

Feeling creative? Join a fun and immersive ‘Intention Candle Making Workshop’ by Kashish Mehta on July 21, 2024 at Fika Coffee Co., in Panjim.

Participants will learn to create their own intention candles using soy wax (not regular paraffin wax), different techniques and more.

Prior experience in candle-making is not required.

WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS

• Consistency techniques and wax measurement

PRE-HISTORIC TOOLS WORKSHOP

Would you like to make your own pre-historic tools and colours as well as paint like the people from the Stone Age? If yes, sign up for the ‘Artifacts & Artistry’ workshop at Carpe Diem Art Centre, Majorda, South Goa, on July 21, 2024.

The workshop on stone tool knapping, archaeology, pre-history and rock art will be conducted by archaeologist and educator, Dr Namrata Biswas.
