September 7, 2023: Mass for the old and sick at 10.30 am

Morning: 5 am, 6.30 am, 8 am, 9.30 am (high mass)

SOME BACKGROUND
The Church of Our Lady of Hope, Chinchinim (also called Nossa Senhora da Esperanca Igreja em Chinchinim in Portuguese), was built in 1590 by the Jesuits.
Later, the church was renovated and blessed in 1888. The architectural style of the church is very similar to the churches of Benaulim, Varca and Curtorim, and has an almost identical façade.
The feast of Our Lady of Hope is celebrated in the church on the Sunday after September 8, every year. This year, the feast day is on September 10, 2023.
