Apart from festival screenings, masterclasses and discussions at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI), there will be several interesting activities, which are free of cost and open to the public. Non-delegates who have not registered for IFFI can also enjoy these activities.
So, here are 3 cool things that you need to watch out for:
1. LOOK OUT FOR FESTIVAL MILE
Like every year, this year too, there are fascinating art installations that will be setup along the sidewalks, starting from Kala Academy to the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) as part of the ‘Festival Mile’.
Numerous food stalls and activity stalls will also be setup along the sidewalk.
The public and the festival delegates can enjoy some scrumptious food while enjoying the colourful lighting along the road and the art installation.
2. FREE OPEN AIR SCREENINGS
There will definitely be many locals, tourists and non-registered delegates, who would want to watch movies since one of the most happening festivals is being held in Goa. So, in order bring in movies for the general public, this year, IFFI has lined up free open-air screenings.
These screenings will be held at Joggers Park in Altinho; Ravindra Bhavan, Margao and Miramar Beach, Panjim.

These will be fun and recreational zones which will be open to delegates and non-delegates alike during the festival period. Both locations will feature live performances, art installations and of course, food stalls.
