How proficient are you at spoken Konkani? And, how effectively can you use the language to express yourself? If the answer to both queries is in positive then you fit the bill to audition for ULOI! FULOI! Spoken Word Festival being organised by Encore Academy of Performing Arts on August 20 at Maquinez Palace.
The academy, which focuses on five genres of performing arts – dance, theatre, music, magic and spoken word – is organising the event to promote spoken words, especially spoken Konkani in Goa.
“Encore Academy is dedicated to fostering performing arts among students in Goa. Through our Encore Dance Education Programs, students have the opportunity to grow artistically and build confidence,” said Cecille Rodrigues, the co-founder of the academy.
She added, “ULOI! FULOI! Festival auditions further this mission by offering young voices a platform to express themselves through spoken word and connect with the broader creative community”.
