Based on director and filmmaker, Satyajit Ray's short story, Golpo Boliye Tarini Khuro, the film The Storyteller had its Indian premier at the first day of the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.

Indian actress, Anindita Bose, told GT that it was her first experience of attending IFFI, and coming with a film was like the cherry on the cake.

"The kind of response we got from the audience was so good! Everyone understood the humour and the jokes and the punch lines wherever they were given; it felt really good."
