If you're interested in watching movies from Goa, be sure to keep an eye out for these seven films from Goa that will be screened at the 54th International Film Festival Of India (IFFI), happening from November 20, 2023, to November 28, 2023 in the State.

These seven films include two feature and four non-feature films. Out of these seven films, six films will be premiered while one film is non-premiere.

The non-feature films from Goa are 'Gathan' by Halcyon Creation, Peace Lily Sand Castle by Sahit Studio, The Witness by Troy Riberio, Yashoda by Blue-Ray Studio and Maarwat by Rajaram Gopal Turi. The two feature films from are #MOG by Big Banner Entertainment and Media LLP and Crazy Mogi by Prasad Creations.

IFFI 2023: Venues, masterclasses and films to look out for in Goa

This year, a total of 20 entries of films were received from Goa in both the categories. Out of which the 7 films were chosen by the jury to be screened at the film festival.

The jury members included chairman of jury, Manas Choudhury and members of jury, Ajit Rai and Kamakhya Narayan Singh who are distinct professionals from the Indian film industry.

Roger Moore, Hollywood flicks and other foreign films shot in Goa

The Goan Section at IFFI was introduced in the year 2014 to support and promote Goan cinema.

Thus, the organising body took to the initiative to introduce the Goan section, which would showcase Goan feature and non-feature films produced during the year.
