PANAJI: In order to plan and co-ordinate various activities related to observation of International Day of Yoga on June 21, an Inter-Ministerial Committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Minister of State for AYUSH (I/C) Shripad Naik with 39 members in the committee out of which two members, Pradeep Nagvenkar and Kamlesh Bandekar, are being selected from Goa.
Pradeep Nagvenkar, resident of Dona Paula is an experienced Yoga instructor committed to make a difference in the educational field by applying wide knowledge of Yogic philosophy and psychology.
He is practicing Yoga from last 15 years. Power Yoga, Yoga, public speaking, communications, motivator, problem solving skills are his area of expertise. He promotes balance of the body and mind through effective teaching and demonstrations.
Currently he is a Goa State Yog Pramukh of Goa State Yoga Academy. Under GSYA he is responsible in promoting yoga in the State of Goa. Under his guidance and expertise yoga been taught at school level and it is a proud moment for GSYA that the students from these schools presented their spectacular yoga performance on International Yoga Day, 21st June 2019 and were duly appreciated by the participating audience.
His aim to take yoga at village level will bear fruits in near futute and that will help to boost self confidence in today’s youth.
