In today’s world, people have to deal with a lot of mental and physical stress, which is an outcome of the changes in lifestyle and routine. In order to help individuals strike a balance between health and well-being, a session of Hatha Yoga is being hosted as part of ‘Yogotsav’ on June 17, 2022, at the Taj Convention Centre, Dona Paula, Goa, from 6 am to 7 am.
The session will be conducted by yoga professional, Vinata Naik and will focus on hatha yoga pranayamas and asanas.
What it's all about?
The hatha yoga session will touch upon areas such as concentration of mind, body and breath alignment, and at the same time, help to increase one's concentration, focus, flexibility immunity, massage to the internal organs and overall health, especially of the spine.
The highlights of the session will include, boosting immunity, increasing lung capacity, proper blood flow and strengthen the internal organs. And additionally, to increase flexibility not just of the body but mind, emotional and intellectual.
The objective is to highlight the importance of yoga and to promote various dimensions of yoga.
The session is being hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in associated with Moraji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. It is part of 'Yogotsav,' an event to commemorate the 100 days countdown to International Yoga Day 2022.
