At this event on May 30, hosted by the newly-launched restaurant ISSA in collaboration with Amber Cocktail Bar, delightful food and retro-disco music will mingle to create the magic of the 80’s on the banks of Chapora River in Siolim.
Starting off at 5pm on Thursday evening, ISSA, with its plush view of the Chapora river, is attempting to evoke the monsoon mood in Goa’s night-lifers with this special event by rustling up a potent fusion of cocktails, food and music.
It’ll recreate the ambience of the disco era by treating its guests “to an exclusive menu of signature cocktails meticulously crafted by mixologist Sandra from Amber Cocktail Bar” under a dazzling disco ball – a symbol of anything ‘disco-esque’.
And Sandra’s cocktail menu has nothing you’ve tasted before, taking you on a ‘spirited’ adventure. Her innovative concoctions – ‘Curry me Crazy’ – that include tadka-infused vodka, kokum, and lime, and the fiery ‘Guava Chili’ with vodka, guava juice, and jalapeño brine are all likely to put you in high spirits.

She’s given an innovative twist to her mocktails too with ‘Watermelon-Hibiscus Cooler’, which is a delightful blend of watermelon, hibiscus, and soda. For her, crisp ‘Cucumber Agua Fresca’, Sandra has infused elderflower and lime with cucumber.
The mixologist’s creative flair shines through in every cocktail and mocktail, “offering a unique blend of flavours that perfectly complement the retro ambiance”
