PANAJI: After the stupendous success of their nouveau venture The Stellar Mr and Miss Goa 2019 held in January last year, the Fashion Triad International, an event management company will organise the Steller Mr and Miss Goa 2020 at Andores Resort and SPA, Calangute on Sunday, January 26, 2020 where 12 participating boys and 12 participating girls will vye for the coveted titles. This year’s contestants have similarly been trained in walk, talk, skincare, diet, poses, styling, clothing, that gives them all the confidence they need, the models were trained by Prasad Pankar in walk and positive thinking, Monty Sally in fashion styling and poses, Rahila Khan in communication and clothing psychology, Dr Pratima Pankar in oral hygiene and care, Sheryl Afonso e D’Souza in diet and nutrition, states a press release. The event will consist of three rounds namely introductory round in casual wear with models wearing fashion triad international logo T-shirts designed and produced by Monty Sally, Goa’s Avante Garde fashion designer; second round in traditional wear where models would don ghagra cholis by Goa’s popular designer Ritu Puri and sherwanis by Dziners a company known for wedding solution and finale round which would also be the question and answer round where models would sashay the ramp with gowns by Goa’s most talented designer Philu Martins and suits by Dziners a company that excels in Bespoke Tailoring. The stage, sound and light would be handled by V4U Events, make-up by the creative beauticians Minette Pereira and choreography by Monty Sally. The event will have a talent round judged by prominent personalities of Goa. The show plans to reinvigorate Goa’s fashion scene by honing new talent and presenting them in a professional, well managed and transparent platform. A niche audience is expected to attend this year’s show, according to the Fashion Triad International.
