Goa has been the perfect backdrop for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) since 2004, and this year marks the 20th anniversary of the festival calling Goa its home.

PREPS IN FULL SWING

To celebrate this and ensure the event's success, CM Sawant has assured all works will be completed by November 15, further informing of a budget allocation of Rs 26 crore this year.

EVENT'S HIGHLIGHT

This year's festival will feature a parade with six winners of the Carnival and Shigmotsav showcasing their creativity on DB Road, from ESG to Kala Academy, on November 22.

NEW VENUE

Apart from the film screenings and open-air venues, the Aguada helipad has been added to this year's IFFI venue list.

VISUAL TREAT

Apart from the many activities held alongside the festival, this year a special art exhibition will be held near Yog Setu, along the Campal riverfront promenade.

FILM BAZAAR

Celebrating its 18th year, the NFDC Film Bazaar, held side by side with IFFI, is a chance to meet film industry professionals and others from the fraternity, creating valuable networking opportunities.
