Goa SARAS is an annual exhibition-cum-sale of handicrafts, handlooms and food products.
It is organised by District Rural Development Agency, North Goa, and Department of Rural Development at Campal Ground, Panjim. It is supported by the Government of India.
This year, at the exhibition, one will find 300 stalls of self-help groups from Goa.
On display are various handicrafts, handlooms, textiles, jute bags, jewellery, herbal and pottery products; also eatables and items of daily use.
The exhibition is a paltform for exchange of innovative ideas, development skills and spread knowledge about indigenous and traditional products.
Goa SARAS is an exhibition that showcases rural talent on a State platform and encourages rural women.
Artisans from different parts of thecountry are displaying their products at Goa SARAS.
The exhibition will remain open till December 30.
