GARDENS

The majority of Panjim’s gardens, such as the Bhagwan Mahaveer Bal Vihar garden, are oceans of calm, adorned with lovely plants, including local flora such as casuarina trees (C. equisetifolia), first introduced into India from Australia during the 1800s.
