Commemorating India's 75th Republic Day, the '1st Vintage Riders Rally', saw the participation of over 40 vintage bikes -- most of which were over 30-years-old -- in a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours.

Filled with patriotic fervour and excitement, the vintage bike rally was flagged off from Velim, South Goa. The rally took the riders through Chichinim, Navelim, Benaulim, Varca and Orlim.

The event organisers emphasised that it was compulsory for all the participants to wear helmets.

Seen in the rally were bikes registered before 1994 -- classic bikes like Lambretta, Bajaj Sunny, RX100 -- a testament to a bygone era.
