MOTIFS OF THE YORE
The temple, made from basalt stone, gives a glimpse into the pre-Portuguese era through its intricate carvings of Panch-mukhi Hanuman, erotic scenes and more.
The carvings on the base of the temple do not give indication of their era but its folk reliefs provide insight into the spiritual practices intertwined with nature of those times.
