FORT ON RIVER BANK

Reis Magos Fort is an awe-inspiring fort on the banks of River Mandovi, overlooking Goa's capital city of Panjim.

ARMED OUTPOST TO FORT

The fort was built in 1493 as an armed outpost of Bijapur Sultanate Adil Shah. It was conquered by the Portuguese in 1541 and converted into a fort. They also built the Reis Magos Church next to it.

ADORNED IN LUSH GREEN

The seasonal vegetation around the fort enhances its beauty, especially during the monsoons.
