However, not all the beautiful beaches of South Goa are famous. One lesser-known, but small, and equally stunning beach, can be seen a short distance from the very famous Palolem beach.

We're talking about Patnem, a little beach which is located just ahead of Palolem beach.

CLEAN AS A WHISTLE

Easily accessible by road, Patnem has the distinction of being one of the cleanest beaches you'll find in South Goa.

WINE & DINE

As if the clean beach wasn't appealing enough, several shacks and cafes are lined up a couple of metres from the waters, giving visitors great views in addition to awesome food.

GETTING THERE

This lovely beach is located roughly 71 km from Panjim city, and 39 km from Margao city.

And, if you reach Patnem before dawn, you'll get a glimpse of fishing boats gearing up to start their fishing activities of the day. So, the next time you're in South Goa, don't forget to visit this lovely beach!
