VANDE BHARAT

Currently, Goa has two Vande Bharat trains -- one from Mumbai and another from Mangalore city, the latter being added recently.

FAST FACTS

This express train is also one of the fastest trains plying between Madgaon and Mangalore city, and covers the distance of 437 km in just 5 hours.

ENCHANTING SCENERY

This train route is scenic, giving a glimpse of the Kali river and Sharavati river, both of which drain into the Arabian Sea. The views are especially lush and enchanting during the monsoons.

PAUSE MODE

The train halts at only two stations en route -- Udupi and Karwar -- which is one of the reasons why it reaches from Mangalore to Goa in record time.

DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL

The train departs from Mangalore at 8.30 am and arrives at Madgaon at 2 pm. It also departs from Madgaon junction at 5.30 pm and reaches Mangalore junction at 10.45 pm.

WHEN TO GO
