This Festival of Plants and Flowers in Siolim is a feast for plant-lovers

FLORAL FIESTA

The 32nd edition of the annual Festival of Plants & Flowers is currently underway at the SFX School complex in Siolim, North Goa.

JUST WALK IN

Running until Monday, August 26, 2024, the exhibit is open to the public, with no entry fee required.

POCKET FRIENDLY

The festival is showcasing a wide variety of plants, manure, and other garden essentials from reputed nurseries, with plant saplings starting at just Rs 10.

CREATIVE CRAFT

In addition to plants, tiny trinkets and organic food items are also on sale at the festival. Students have brought an impressive collection of plants for competitions, along with creative craftwork.

THIS YEAR'S THEME

This year’s theme, 'Plant a Tree, Keep Goa Green,' aims to inspire students from various schools (which have been invited to participate in the festival) through projects and competitions to plant trees in their localities.

GREEN GOA

The projects are designed to encourage not just students, but also their teachers and parents, to take part in making Goa a greener place.
