This bi-weekly Goa-Mumbai train service is a new travel option

The Western Railway (WR) has introduced a new bi-weekly train service connecting Bandra Terminus in Mumbai to Margao in South Goa.

Bandra Terminus is located in the heart of Mumbai's western suburbs, making it easily accessible to residents of areas like Bandra, Santacruz, Khar, Andheri, and more.

This service is also beneficial for travellers staying in southern areas of Goa like Margao, Colva, or Agonda, as it saves time and hassle compared to other transportation options.

RELIABLE TRAVEL

The train will operate twice a week, providing a consistent and reliable option for travel.

FOR ALL BUDGETS

The train will feature various classes, including AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, AC 3-Tier Economy, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class, ensuring options for different budgets and preferences.

TAKE-OFF

The inaugural run (Train No 09167) would mark the official launch of this new train service on August 29 from Borivali station, starting at 1.25 pm.

FILLED WITH VIEWS

The regular Bandra-Margao service will begin from September 3-4. Travellers can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Konkan coast during the day and night journey of the train.

TIMINGS

The train will leave Margao every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.40 am, arriving at Bandra Terminus by 11.40 pm. It will depart from Bandra Terminus every Wednesday and Friday at 6.50 am, reaching Margao by 10 pm.
