Whether you plan on staying or just visit the island, there are numerous things to try and explore in Divar.

There is relatively less traffic on the island, so you can easily cycle around and explore the place.
This Saptakoteshwar temple pond has some great laterite carvings and sculpture work. The niches along the walls were probably used to keep lit lamps during festivals. A great place for history buffs.
If you love fishing and are patient, head to Divar with your gear for a good catch of local fish, prawns and crabs.
Watching a train pass on the Konkan railway bridge at Naroa, Divar, amidst the lush greenery is a scene to behold.
Built in Baroque style, the Our Lady of Piety Church is located on the highest hill of Divar. From here, one can see breathtaking view of the river Mandovi and the nearby Chorao island.
