KANKONN

Kankonn, is a local bread which derives its name from the Konkani word for 'bangle' owing to its shape. Prepared by traditional local bakers, it is crunchy and dry, and tastes amazing dipped in piping hot tea.

ALLE BELLE

These pancakes, or crepes, are stuffed with a sweet coconut and jaggery mixture, that have a hint of cardamom powder.

PANSACHE DHONAS

This is a kind of cake, made from a mixture jackfruit pulp (using the rasaal variety of jackfruit), rava (semolina) and jaggery. This mixture is then baked and served hot.
