Take a peek at Children’s Day at the Army Camp in Bambolim

DAY OF CHILDREN

Games, concerts, parties and a variety of activities marked Children’s Day celebrations in Goa on Nov 14, 2023. And, there were celebrations at an army camp, too ….

AT THE CAMP

In order to mark Children’s Day, the Army Camp in Bambolim organised special programmes at the Gowrishankar Auditorium on the premises.

THE YOUNG ONES

Students of the Mercury Army Pre-Primary & Primary School (MAPPS), Bambolim, participated in the many cultural programmes held on the occasion.

GUEST OF HONOUR

The chief guest was chairperson of FWO, HQ 2 STC, Harleen Kaur Sawhney.

MAKING MERRY

Over 50 children of different ages exhibited their creativity and talent at the function.

PROGRAMME GUIDE

Programmes such as yoga, social media, ‘Fighting Monsters like Harmful Social Media and Unhealthy Food’ and ‘Save Water Save Earth’ were part of the celebrations.

GETTING NOTICED

Their performances were entertaining and received much appreciation from the chief guest, Harleen Kaur Sawhney.

MAKING A COMMITMENT

Women and families of HQ 2 Signal Training Centre commemorated the special day by recommitting to create a world where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
