The newly inaugurated Aguad Interactive Museum: Goa - The Land, The Struggle, The People, in North Goa, is now open to visitors.

Minister for Tourism, Rohan Khaunte, inaugurated the museum on October 24, 2023.

ONE OF A KIND

The interactive museum features the use of innovative technology to showcase a captivating narrative of Goa in the form of storytelling and by using cutting-edge technology.

A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME

The museum is located at the Aguad Port Jail Complex in North Goa and it has exhibits housed in three prison cells. Each cell narrates a different story of Goa's history and heritage.

THREE ROOMS

The three prison cells designated as rooms 1, 2 and 3 display Goa's landmarks, throw light on its struggle for liberation and showcase its ethnography and anthropology.

CREATIVE NARRATIVE

The interactive museum weaves a narrative in the form of entertainment and education, taking visitors on a journey through the past.
