Public smoking is an offence in Goa. Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking zones.

DON'T BE MEAN, BE CLEAN
No littering and spitting in public places, beaches, parks and public transport. Both, littering and spitting, can attract fines.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
Always follow instructions of lifeguards and tourist police with regard to designated bathing zones on the beach. Also, avoid taking selfies wherever boards are put up.
