When in Goa, the festivities never stop. And, this March, the state will take to fancy costumes, dance to traditional beats, and witness some well-curated floats -- all at the much awaited Shigmo.

THE NUMBERS

The annual celebration of Shigmo will take place across 14 days this year, from March 26, 2024 to April 8, 2024 at 18 venues in the state.

HIGH ON ENERGY

This year, the festival will kick-start at Ponda on March 26, followed by Calangute on March 27, Sanquelim on March 28 and Bicholim on March 29.

VIBRANT PARADES

The parade will take place in the capital city of Panjim on March 30, and then move to the busy locale of Porvorim on March 31.

SHOWCASE OF CULTURE

The month of April will start on a festive note as Shigmo celebrations will continue in Pernem on April 1; Canacona on April 2; Vasco on April 3; and Shiroda and Curchorem on April 4.

ROOTED IN TRADITION

Promising a great experience, the parade will also take place at Quepem and Dharbandora on April 5; Margao on April 6; Mapusa and Sanguem on April 7; and Cuncolim and Valpoi on April 8.
