The perfect muse, it comes as no surprise that Goa often brings a blank canvas to life with its beauty and spark.
The Goa Directorate of Art and Culture and Watercolour Artists Association of Goa have organised 'Rangotsav with Lokotsav,' an art exhibition which is currently on at the Kala Academy in Panjim.
The Watercolour Artists Association of Goa includes more than 40 artists and the exhibition has a total of 16 of them who have showcased their brilliance in every stroke.
Apart from the art gallery at Kala Academy, they also have a stall set up at the 'Lokotsav 2024' festival that is happening simultaneously in Panjim.
The mediums used to create the paintings are not only restricted to watercolour, but also also include oil paint, acrylic paint, charcoal and soft pastel.
"I believe that a true artist isn't somebody with a degree or certificate in art, but somebody that is consisent with it," says Kalidas Satardekar from the Watercolour Artists Association of Goa.
The last day of the art exhibition is February 4, 2024.
